• completing all classwork and homework assignments (listed in their planner and on my web site for you to check)
• reviewing notes taken in class carefully
• organizing their notebook to quickly find the materials they need for class and homework
• paying attention to the quality of work they complete
• enlisting the help of their "Study Buddies" when they need clarification at home
• preparing for tests by creating flashcards of the vocabulary words defined in class and also on my web site. (It is helpful to have parents quiz them on these flashcards)
• take advantage of the extra credit on my web site and coloring the front of each packet
• quizzes and tests are announced prior to the date they are given, and students are told exactly what they will be required to know.
